Twitter has decided to bring back account verifications after shutting down the process around three years ago. After making a few amendments to the program, they are launching the verification process again early next year.
For more clarity, Twitter is giving the audience an overview of the first draft of the new policy. Currently, there are six types of accounts that qualify for verification.

The six types of accounts that afre eligible for verification are:
- News
- Entertainment
- Government
- Sports
- Brands, Companies, and Non-Profit Organizations
- Organizers, Activists and other Influential Beings
